Each type microfiber fabric weight has a certain range, let’s take terry cloth as an example, the fabric weight is usually between 180gsm to 350gsm. It’ll be hard to weave the fabric if we make more or less than this range, even we weave the fabric successfully, but the fabric style and quality will be not good.
About Fabric Roll Width
Generally, the fabric roll width can be made with width between 1.6m-2.1m. Different width fabric is used to make different size finished cloths or towels. So you need to confirm the width you want before you purchase the fabric roll. You can also ask the fabric supplier to give you some suggestions about the width to fit your products so that to decrease the waste of srap when you make finished products.
But there’s one point you should be aware of, the fabric supplier prefer to make fabric roll with wide width like 2-2.1m, this can help them increase the production ability. Most of fabric manufacturers are reluctant to take time to adjust weaving machine’s width parameter if the fabric order quantity is small. So if you just want to purchase little quantity fabric, please try to make the fabric roll width wider, then it’ll be easy for you to find the supplier to make the fabric, and fabric lead time will be short also.
About MOQ
Most of microfiber fabric production MOQ is 500kg per color. The main production processes that affect this part are weaving and dyeing.
About Packing
Each fabric roll is usually made 30-50KGS, the very conventional packing will be transparent PP bag or plastic woven bag. That will be easy for loading and transporting.
